Esri Training Overview
Suzanne Roulston-Doty of GIS Associates has been an authorized instructor for Esri Courses for 14 years. In addition to custom training, she teaches the following Esri courses:
- ArcGIS Desktop I: Getting Started with GIS
- ArcGIS Desktop II: Tools and Functionality
- ArcGIS Desktop III: GIS Workflows and Analysis
The Esri Authorized courses include hands-on classroom instruction, two course manuals, a CD-ROM of course exercises and data, and an official certificate of completion.

Types of Training
Everyone has a unique learning style, schedule, and budget. Esri offers both Self-Study (Virtual Campus) training and Instructor-led training to suit these preferences.
Recommended Courses
Recommended courses help you decide what training to take based on your job responsibilities, tasks, and previous training.
Learning Pathways
A learning pathway defines a set of Esri training courses, both Instructor-led and Virtual Campus, that focus on a particular aspect of GIS. Within a learning pathway, participants can choose some courses based on their own interests. A pathway certificate is awarded upon completion.
Complete List of Training Seminars and Web Courses
Live Training Seminars are recorded, than made available as either a Training Seminar or a Web Course a few weeks after the live presentation.
Training Seminars (TS) are FREE. Web Courses (W) include the recording plus an exercise, exam, and certificate of completion and may have a nominal cost.
Library
This bibliography covers the literature of geographic information systems, science, and technology. It indexes journals, conference proceedings, books, and reports from the origins of GIS to the present.
Esri Press
Esri Press publishes books on GIS, cartography, and the application of spatial analysis to public and private endeavor including land-use planning, health care, education, business, government, science, among others.
